After seeing another forum member's question, I decided to write up a quick guide to the interior fuse box for most 2004-2019 Nissan Frontiers (D40), in case people are looking for ways to power interior mods without having to wire all the way through the firewall. Link below:

Should be made a "sticky" so it doesn't get lost among the other posts.

Typos fixed.
BTW... it's an interior fuse box guide, for people who are "looking for ways to power interior mods without having to wire all the way through the firewall." I can easily do an engine bay fuse box guide (need to take some pics and label diagrams) but it would contradict the whole purpose of this thread.

Administrators had nothing to do with this decision, it is built into the software. If you would like to see a change to the forum settings, there is a forum for that as you know; you simply need to apply your efforts either by messaging a Mod or Admin or by posting in the Help forum (which you have made suggestions in the past): ClubFrontier AutoGuide Forum Support / Help

I agree this would make an excellent sticky, with one ginormous caveat. When adding a tap-a-fuse, the ampacity of the circuit doesn't magically double. You can't snap in a fuse tap on a circuit protected by an OE 20a fuse and tag another 20a fuse over that one, and expect the puny barely sized big enough OE copper wire to carry 32 amps. If you're using the taps to activate relays or somesuch, or power a few extra LED fixtures, no worries.
Radios, amps, CBs, HAM radios, large LED light bars or any other such, no bueno unless you'd like to watch your dash go up in smoke and flames. I've seen it happen. Don't be that guy.

Except it was written mainly as a guide to what fuse is where.
More importantly, high amp items like some you mentioned (amplifiers, large LED light bars) come with their own instructions that tell the installer to connect these high-amp items directly to the battery (as they should be), not a tap-a-fuse (which I personally never use anyways).
So I get what you're talking about, but at the same time it's a separate topic outside the scope of what I wrote.
*Yes, there was a small blurb about using the OEM subwoofer fuse as a power source. I revised the text slightly after reading your post.

Raine, you and I both know this. Not everyone does. Hence, hair dryers tell you not to operate them in the shower and coffee to go containers say "Caution, contents HOT". Someone who arrives at this sticky and knows little about electrical theory may arrive at the conclusion ( falaciously ) that the amp directions to run new cabling back to the battery are unwarranted if they can grab a 20 or 30a circuit out of the main fuse box. It does and will happen, I'm just trying to help someone from melting their harness or having a Pontiac Fiero-style barbecue in their backyard. Designing and installing wiring well is somewhat of an artform, as I'm aware that you are aware of.

...Absolutely - I agree with you, but on the same note, there are times where I don't want to have to explain everything over and over an over either LOL
The other day someone questioned my opinion on some car audio, trying the "how do you know?" thing. I actually typed out in detail how I knew.
The reality is that if people make uninformed, ignorant, or lazy decisions - it would be their fault, no matter how many disclaimers you try to give them. People will do what they want to do, you can only try to "be a parent" so much. Just like everything else on this forum - part of it is suggestions, part of it is instructional, part of it requires common sense or at minimum the capacity to understand what you are or are not capable of. And (you and I both know this) these days there are a TON of people (on this forum too) who live by taking shortcuts, who don't want to to do the job right if they can do the job in an inferior way that takes less time and effort.
I know you're just trying to help. So am I. But as Mr. Garrisson once said "There are no stupid questions, just stupid people." LOL
